Ann Weise

Ann Weise, a local watercolor artist, moved to Lindsay with her parents following her college graduation. She graduated from School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a degree in Art Theory. Ann was involved with the Lindsay and Fresno Art Associations.

Her artwork focused mainly on landscapes. She mentioned once that she didn’t enjoy doing portraits, except of her father. Ann loved to travel, and made several trips to Japan to study art. One one of her visits, a friend arranged a showing of her work at a local gallery while she was there.
