Still Point

The Lindsay Museum and Gallery is honored to invite you to a landmark international exhibition this April: “The Still Point and Its Echo.” Curated by Gallery Chang (New York/Seoul), this exhibition is a sophisticated cross-cultural exchange that began in a studio in Strathmore, CA, and resonated all the way to Korea.

The Vision

Inspired by T.S. Eliot’s paradox of movement and stillness, the exhibition centers on the work of Shane Guffogg as a locus of presence. Following Guffogg’s 2025 visit to Korea, a dialogue emerged with artists whose practices share an inquiry into perception, light, and the unseen. The artists gathered—Shin Kiwoun, Anon, Kim Hongbin, and Kim Minhye—do not replicate a visual language, but rather provide a reverberation of it across distance.
