Artist Profile
Adam Longatti
I have been painting the California landscape professionally for the past fifteen years. As a fourth generation resident of the San Joaquin Valley I’ve made the California landscape; particularly the Central Valley, my life-long work.
After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree, I received a Masters of Arts at Fresno State University where I’ve been an instructor of painting and drawing since 2005. I have had numerous solo and group showings and lectures throughout my career; and was the first Artist in Residence at the Petrified National Monument in Arizona. I have completed public murals and commissions and my work is in many permanent collections, including the Stone House Residency, Petrified National Forest Museum and two large scale paintings in the Federal Courthouse in Fresno.
